FAQs for Restaurants
When & Where?
Date: Tuesday, October 1, 2019
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Location: DePelchin Children's Center Grounds, 4950 Memorial Drive (corner of Bethje and Augusta streets)
What will be provided?
We will provide a standard 8 ft table with a white cover. We will also provide a canopy. There will be no electricity provided.
What will I be required to provide?
We suggest a minimum of 250 samples of food, but often restaurants run out quickly, so you may want to bring even more. You will need to provide servers, disposable plates and flatware, and and any decorations (like banners).
When can I start setting up?
You can come as early as 4:00 pm. Your table will be set up and someone will be at the park to answer any questions.
What do you need from me for advertising?
We need the exact name of your restaurant, your website address, and a jpg of your logo. We will begin advertising your restaurant as soon as we receive event confirmation.
What would you recommend I bring to my table?
You are responsible for bringing banners and any decorations. Remember, attendees will only know what restaurant they are eating food from if you bring a banner.
Where can I park during the event?
You will be able to park during the event in DePelchin Children's Center parking lot which is next to the NNO lot. There are three entrances to the parking lot; one on Bethje, one on Augusta, and one at Sandman/Scotland streets.
Why do I need to provide a gift certificate?
We are raising money to replace trees lost this year (to a developer) in our neighborhood park—Nellie Keyes Park. Your gift certificate will go towards our raffle, and people will get an extra raffle ticket when they donate to the park. We think gift certificates to your restaurant will incentivize neighbors to donate to the park!
